Adoptions 

If you think you could give a loving home to one of the many animals in our care at Merrylegs Charitable Trust, then please contact us to discuss further.

 

We will explain the adoption/rehoming process with you and arrange an initial meeting or telephone call with you to assess suitability.

In order to continue with the ongoing work we do at Merrylegs, we ask you to pay a rehoming/adoption fee which helps towards the ongoing costs of the animal’s in our care.

Surrendering an Animal

Sadly due to limited resources and housing facilities we are only able to accept animals that meet the following criteria's.

​

  • Abused, neglected or abandoned animals.

​

We do not currently offer retirement livery and are able to accept horses or ponies that do not fall under the above criteria.
